The material concept
Travertine, slate, knotted schist, oak, glass, ceramics and porcelain continue inside the house the journey that begins outdoors. Origin, use in the room and possible visits remain connected.

For decades, Hirschberg was shaped by the inner-German border. Walls and barriers separated people and neighbours. The opening of the border in 1989 began a new chapter: separation became encounter, and the border became a connection once more.
